JAKARTA, TRIBUNNEWS.COM - PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) again received an award from the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI). This award is given after the largest motorcycle manufacturer in Indonesia had managed to record as a contest organizer modification with the highest number of motorcycles, namely 1,000 units during the year 2010.
This award was received by AHM on the sidelines of the final Honda Otocontest 2010 which coincided with the implementation of the final series of Honda Racing Championship (HRC 2010) in Kenjeran Park, Surabaya.
AHM carrying contest has been held 10 times the modifications within a period of less than one year beginning in February 2010, in ten cities of Surabaya, Palembang, Jember, Kediri, Denpasar, Roxburgh, Malang, Bandung, Yogyakarta, and Banjarmasin.
General Manager of Marketing Planning and Analysis Division PT AHM Augustine Indraputra said modification is a means to channel the interests and hobbies of young people who want to have a motorcycle that could reflect her lifestyle and personality.
The Company seeks to provide a means for lovers to exchange melombakan modification modification works through a contest that has been going on regularly in the past five years.

Modification competition that was held this year AHM has eleven categories of race that is IBE, Beginners, Extreme, Accessories, Racing Look, Matik Funky, Funky Duck, Funky Sport, Sport Custom, Custom Duck, Matik Custom.
In the final event in Surabaya modification contest, AHM combines eleven categories in 3 classes namely fashion bike, extreme, and nonextreme. Each category winner will be sent to Bangkok to attend an international motorcycle race modifications.
